I am a Catalyst for New Earth Now.

Chemistry. a substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction without itself being affected.
something that causes activity between two or more persons or forces without itself being affected.
a person or thing that precipitates an event or change
a person whose talk, enthusiasm, or energy causes others to be more friendly, enthusiastic, or energetic.

I love the word catalyst and I see myself in each of these definitions. I strive to catalyze good in the world, to bring people together, and to be a spark that gets synergies flowing and projects going. I do my best to maintain a high vibration and to spread positive energy and light. I diligently work on activating my neutral mind, so that in working with others I am able to listen quietly, respond from my intuition, and make neutral decisions about the processes in which I am involved.

Chrystal is my middle name, from my Moms side of the family. My mom is the oldest of eleven children in a big Irish Catholic family, and I have 35 first cousins on the Chrystal side. We refer to ourselves as the “Chrystal Clan”, and we all love one another very much. Even though I grew up across the country from my ‘clan’, my cousins have always been my best friends. Every summer & each year for Christmas, we would travel to Chicago to reunite and celebrate life together. I am so grateful for my family, for this abundant wellspring of support that I have in my life.

In the spirit of celebrating my matrilineal heritage, and my celtic ancestry, I am choosing to embrace the name Chrystal in a bigger way. In contemplation of its etymology and it’s meaning as being a ‘carrier of Christ’, I have come to deeply appreciate and resonate with what this entails. Although I grew up Catholic, I have been on a quest throughout my adult life to explore a wide range of spiritual traditions. I have come to resonate with the different mystical branches of the major monotheistic religions, and in my exploration of christian mysticism, I have palpably felt the energy of Christ consciousness; the energy of unconditional love, tenderness, deep wisdom, and profound compassion. These are all qualities I strive to emulate, universal qualities I believe we all have access to. To me, the New Earth is in the here and now, ushered forth by the blossoming of christ consciousness throughout the collective consciousness of humanity.

I also choose to embrace my middle name in honor of my mother, the most incredible and heart-centered woman I have ever known. My mom, Maureen Chrystal, has loved fiercely and nurtured her family her whole life. She has followed her heart and has paved the way for me to step into my own unique expression. I feel so blessed to be her daughter, and to be unconditionally loved and supported by her.
